About rebecca jane

Rebecca-Jane is an ethical handbag and accessories company that is owned by designer Rebecca Eaton. Using what is around us already has always fascinated Rebecca. She is inspired by vintage and re-claimed materials, not only for their eco principles but also for their aesthetic beauty.

Rebecca has worked for many designers, including Givenchy, Stuart Vevers, Luella, Robert Cary Williams and Paul Seville. Her experience of working in these different design houses gave her the insight into how to run a fashion label. In 2008 Rebecca combined this knowledge with her passion for eco design and Rebecca-Jane was born.

The innovative and modern designs are all handmade in the United Kingdom. Each product is predominantly created from re-claimed leather, vintage fabric and antique lace that are teamed together with new leathers for handles and new components. The juxtaposition of the old and new make for products that can be replicated for production but that also hold slight variations, due to working with recycled materials, making a unique bag for the customer.

Rebecca-Jane collections are designed seasonally. They are sold through various boutiques and stores in UK, and are also showcased in Tokyo by their agent who stocks around 10 stores throughout Japan.
