Fancy a Date with Rebecca Jane and A Sewing Machine???
We are running a 3-hour handbag sewing class at the fantastic Stockyard café in East Horsley. For a one off trial we have teamed with Su from the Stockyard to bring Horsley a creative and fun sewing course, you will come away at the end of the compact course with a handbag made from scratch, that you’ll be very proud to wear on your shoulder!
Why not come and treat yourself to three hours of fun filled sewing, whilst sipping on a delicious coffee from the café we’re conveniently located in!
The bag you’ll be making is a shopper style made from Barbour waxed cotton and lined with patterned fabric. It has leather handles, so is robust and ideal for every day use.
Date & Time
Wednesday 17th of June. It runs from 10am till 1pm (the prefect amount of time to allow you to keep to your usual daily routines).
Cost of the class is only £40 all materials and equipment provided
What you can expect from your course:
When you arrive you will be given a paper bag full of goodies. Inside you will find the components for your bag all cut and ready to be assembled. No need to bring anything but your lovely selves.
Barbour fabric bag front & back, patch pocket, strip lining front & back, patch pocket, fusing, prepped leather handles, 8 rivets, 1 x magnetic clasp, card base for bag
