Making Bag With Wrapping Paper

Making Bag With Wrapping Paper

Making a bag out of wrapping paper is a fun and creative project that allows you to repurpose leftover paper from gifts or special occasions. To make a bag out of wrapping paper, you will need the following materials:

  • Several sheets of wrapping paper in your desired color or pattern
  • Scissors
  • Glue or double-sided tape
  • A ruler or measuring tape
  • A pencil

Here are the steps to follow to make a bag out of wrapping paper:

  1. Measure and cut two pieces of wrapping paper to the desired width and height of your bag. These will be the front and back of your bag.
  2. Cut two additional pieces of wrapping paper to the same height as the front and back pieces, but with a width that is about half the width of the front and back pieces. These will be the sides of your bag.
  3. Use glue or double-sided tape to attach the sides to the front and back pieces, forming a rectangular shape with an open top. Be sure to line up the edges carefully and press firmly to ensure a strong bond.
  4. Measure and cut two strips of wrapping paper to the desired length and width for your bag handles. These can be the same color or pattern as the rest of your bag, or you can use a different color or pattern for a contrasting look.
  5. Use glue or double-sided tape to attach the handles to the inside of the bag, positioning them on opposite sides of the top opening. Be sure to press firmly to ensure a strong bond.
  6. If you want to add a closure to your bag, you can use a piece of velcro, a button and loop, or a snap to keep the top opening closed. You can also add other decorative elements, such as ribbons, bows, or stickers, to personalize your bag.

With some creativity and attention to detail, you can make a unique and stylish bag out of wrapping paper that is perfect for carrying small gifts or other items.
