Description: This is a fabulous introduction to working with leather. The clutch bag is a perfect size for an Ipad or evening bag. It’s really versatile and a super handy size. It has a secure zip fastening, wrist strap and super cute leather tassel. All pattern pieces have a 1cm seam allowance already added

Suggested Materials
- Leather - 3ft of light weight leather no more than 1mm thick
- Heavy weight iron on fusing - 0.5 metre
- Light weight lining fabric - 0.5 metre
- Light weight iron on fusing - 4cm x 27cm stripe
- 1 x 25cm zip - I like to use YKK metal zips
- Tassel holder x 1
- Double capped rivet x 1
Suggested Tools
- I have designed all our patterns in a way that makes them achievable on domestic home sewing machines.
- You will need a few specific things to sew leather, a Teflon foot, roller foot or walking foot & a zipper foot.
- Leather point needles size 110/18, nylon bonded thread size m60 or polyester thread.
- Scissors, rotary cutter, pliers, hole punch, rubber mallet, copydex glue, rivet setting tool, awl to score leather or a gel pen, burnishing agent called tragacanth gum, plastic or metal ruler, cutting mat, iron and a small screwdriver for the tassel holder.
