🧰 Suggested Materials:

• 3 sq ft of lightweight leather (maximum 1mm thickness)

• 0.5 metre of heavyweight iron-on fusing

• 0.5 metre of lightweight lining fabric

• 4cm x 27cm strip of lightweight iron-on fusing

• 1 x 25cm zip (YKK metal zips recommended)

• 1 x tassel holder

• 1 x double-capped rivet

• Polyester or bonded nylon thread (size M60)

🛠️ Suggested Tools:
All RJ Leather Studio patterns are designed to be achievable on a domestic sewing machine. For best results, we recommend:

• Teflon foot, roller foot, or walking foot

• Zipper foot

• Leather point needles (size 110/18)

• Scissors or rotary cutter

• Pliers

• Copydex glue or similar leather adhesive

• Hole punch & rubber mallet

• Rivet setting tool

• Awl or gel pen to mark stitch lines

• Burnishing gum (e.g. tragacanth)

• Metal or plastic ruler, cutting mat

• Iron (for fusing)

• Small screwdriver (for tassel holder)
