🧰 Suggested Materials:

• 8–10 square ft of lightweight leather (max 1mm thick)

• 1 metre of heavyweight iron-on stabiliser

• 0.5 metre of medium to heavyweight lining

• 2 x leather straps (2.5cm wide, approx. 55cm long)

• 1 x closed-end zip (30cm) for the bag top

• 1 x zip (20cm) for internal pocket

• Small D-ring or trigger hook for key strap

• Decorative rivets

• Polyester or bonded nylon thread

🛠️ Suggested Tools:

All RJ Leather Studio patterns are designed to be achievable on a domestic sewing machine. For best results, we recommend:

• Teflon foot, roller foot, or walking foot

• Zipper foot

• Leather point needles (size 110/18)

• Scissors or rotary cutter

• Copydex glue or similar leather adhesive

• Hole punch & rubber mallet

• Rivet setting tool

• Awl or gel pen to mark stitch lines

• Burnishing gum (e.g. tragacanth)

• Metal or plastic ruler, cutting mat

• Iron (for stabiliser)
